TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Our Invitation to You:

• We welcome solo travelers as well as couples and groups of friends & family members.
• A prior Salsa, Bachata and Kizomba experience is needed – you can be beginner but we ask you to be very comfortable with the basic steps and basic movements, have a very strong base in those 3 dances:

1. In Salsa you need to be able to do the basics back and forth steps, side steps and cross steps as well as cross body lead, ladies’ and men’s turns.
2. In Bachata you need to be able to do the basics side to side and back and forth steps, ladies’ and men’s turn and tapping step.
3. In Kizomba you need to be able to do the basic 3, basic 2 (side step), half tempo, cha cha turn and ladies’ and men’s saida.

• There is a minimum age of 18 years old to join this retreat.
• All the activities and workshops will be held in English. We do not provide translators.
• We recommend that our guests be in good physical health to participate in our various activities.
• All Bali Afro-Latin Dance Holidays guests must read and agree to the Terms and Conditions and sign the liability waiver prior to attending our retreat.
• We do not share your information with others unless necessary to book the vacation, please see our Privacy Statement for details.

Privacy Statement

• Bali Afro-Latin Dance Holidays and Ubud Studio does not share or sell your email address to third parties.
• If you chose to book a vacation with Bali Afro-Latin Dance Holidays and Ubud Studio, we will need your name and email address to complete the transaction. We will not share those details with anybody who is not directly involved in organizing your vacation.
• All the payments have to be sent in EUR (Euro), all the currency exchange, bank and PayPal fees have to be paid by the guests.

A deposit of 50% of the total to be paid is required to hold your reservation. The balance of the retreat cost is due and must be received by Bali Afro-Latin Dance Holidays-Ubud Studio no later than the 15th of  October 2019. All the bank fee, fund transfer fee or currency exchange fee are the responsibility of the participant. Prices do not include airfare. You do not need to have your flight booked in order to put a deposit down. However, please confirm space availability with us prior to booking your flights. After deposit is received we will send you a packet of information outlining what to bring and additional information to prepare you for your visit to Bali.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations by You

Bali Afro-Latin Holidays and Ubud Studio work with quality vendors, instructors, and guides to provide you with a unique retreat. In order to best serve all our guests and provide high quality services we have a firm cancellation policy. There are no exceptions to this policy. We strongly encourage and recommend that you obtain trip interruption/cancellation insurance to protect yourself in the event that you must cancel your retreat for any reason. This insurance can be purchased from various travel insurance companies. No refund will be made by the organizer, Bali Afro-Latin Dance Holidays.

Cancellations by you that are not made in writing (email is acceptable) are not valid under these Terms and Conditions. There are no exceptions to our cancellation policy.

Your deposit (50% of the total of your package price) will be fully refunded if you cancel before the 1st of September 2019. A 25% of the deposit will be refunded if you cancel between the 1st of September and the 30th of September 2019. No refund will be made if you cancel after the 1st of October 2019.

No partial refunds will be given for unused hotel rooms, meals, sightseeing trips, transportation services, or other segments or portions of your retreat for any reason whatsoever. The cost of the retreat is a package cost and refunds and credits are not available for services not used.

Cancellations by Bali Afro-Latin Dance Holidays

We do our utmost to maintain our standard of never cancelling a retreat, but we reserve the right to cancel a retreat if the minimum group size of 8 participants has not been reached 30 days before the first day of the retreat. However, we will not cancel a retreat on this basis if we have previously informed you that the retreat has reached the minimum requirement and you should purchase airline tickets.

In the very unlikely circumstance that events outside the control of Bali Afro-Latin Dance Holidays may require that a retreat be cancelled, all deposits and payments made to date will be refunded in full (except $50 EUR administration fees).

In the event that we do not receive your payment of the final balance on the due date (at least the first day of the retreat) and you have not otherwise notified us of your intent to cancel your reservation, we will cancel your reservation and not refund your deposit. Be aware that it can take several days between the moment the money is sent and the moment we receive it, the moment we receive it must be at last the first day of the retreat.

Because we strongly recommend that you obtain trip insurance and because you have notice of this cancellation policy, Bali Afro-Latin Dance Holidays and Ubud Studio is not responsible for any additional personal travel expenses you may incur in connection with cancelled retreats including airline tickets.

Payment to Bali Afro-Latin Dance Holidays indicates agreement with this cancellation policy.
