FUN KIZOMBA WORKSHOP WITH ISABELLE & FELICIEN ON BALI

This past weekend, many of our Ubud Studio and Ubud Salsa members went to the south of Bali for a fun and intense open-level Kizomba workshop in Canggu with Isabelle & Félicien. During 9 hours of workshop, we learned a lot of new moves, lift & tricks, and advanced patterns.

Workshop participants had the chance to attend three parties in different locations and to meet dancers from countries all over the world. A number of participants flew to Bali all the way from Kuala Lumpur and Singapur to attend the workshop. We even had a group from as far away as Hong Kong joining us. Isabelle and Félicien were very knowledgeable and friendly teachers. They showed great patience with us students all the while keeping their workshops fun and entertaining. The tempo was fast paced, so we learned a lot in these 2 days.

Special thanks also to DJ Ash and DJ Selva who provided us with great tunes and a very insightful musicality workshop on Sunday morning. During the musicality workshop, the DJs taught us the differences between traditional Kizomba music, Semba, Kuduro, Taraxinha, Afro-House, and many more. We hope to meet all of you back on Bali for more Kizomba soon!
